Sharon came recommended to me by a friend who is studying acupuncture. I was around 36 weeks pregnant and the baby was lying transverse [breech] on its side. Unless it turned, I would have no choice but deliver the baby via c-section. My OBGYN suggested that acupuncture might help turn the baby. I had approximately 4 appointments in quick succession since time was of the essence (at 37 weeks there wasn't a lot of room for the baby to move and turn). Sharon was so kind and calming, as well as professional. Her presence alone helped me relax. She spent much time up front getting to know me and the situation. She gave me pointers and tips that I could use at home, and truly listened to me. I had never experienced acupuncture before and it was completely non-threatening. It was painless and I could actually feel it working while the needles were in place. Her offices were clean and soothing as well. Fortunately for me, the baby had turned to be head down. I feel that my time with Sharon was well spent. Her therapies definitely played a role in setting me up for a successful delivery. I am very grateful to Sharon and would highly recommend her to others in similar situations.
