I have been getting acupuncture from Alyssa for several years, and every time I leave, I am in shock at how effective the treatment is. Although I believe in the value of acupuncture to heal, I am still constantly in awe of the gentle, yet intense effect it has.

I went to see Alyssa when I had an ongoing sinus infection that was escalating in intensity, and many recommended I go to the emergency room, as these things can turn bad very quickly when ignored. I told Alyssa I was going to go the next day, and she asked if I could come for an acupuncture session. I figured it couldn't hurt, so I did, still doubting anything would happen, especially as quickly as I needed it to. I could NOT believe that by that night I was feeling better already, and the pain kept on subsiding quickly the next day, until gone completely.

When needling, Alyssa has a very confident and gentle approach. I usually don't feel the needles at all, except on some very powerful points.

Alyssa is a very calm, ‘great energy’ person who will make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk into her room, until the very end. Of course, this is very important with a practice involving needles! It is also important, as, sometimes, powerful emotions are stirred up, and a safe space is imperative to allow them to release.
